It was Andy and Becky’s third night on the rooftop. It had taken some doing. At considerable risk, Jeff Linn had outmaneuvered Mitch’s guard dog secretaries and managed to find the address of his Manhattan hideaway, a penthouse apartment on the west side of Central Park. Then Jeff had broken all kinds of laws by flying a small drone over East Side rooftops and across the park to find the ideal place for observation. New Yorkers living on either side of the Park have long enjoyed innocent amusement by observing one another over the treetops with powerful telescopes.
