She was both a lady to her fingertips and a grand old broad. That’s a tightrope not many women can walk, let alone walk with class and style. Her red hair and throaty laugh were known everywhere. My friend and mentor Anne Stinson was larger than life and yet able to pick up the nuances of the smallest things.

Totally enjoyed Helen Chappell’s “Mysteries from Across the Pond”. Like Helen, we have also been absorbed in all the British murder mysteries – all those she mentioned as well as others. We also bought “Not Getting Murdered in a Quaint English Village” and I was delighted to see it featured. Her stories are always the first article I read every month and thoroughly appreciate.
